Opportunity to find out about the National Citizenship Service (NCS) in North Somerset

What is NCS?

If you are an activity provider or local commissioning network in North Somerset you may be interested in coming along to find out how the NCS in North Somerset can benefit you and the young people you work with.

A presentation and Q and A session will be held on Wednesday October 23rd from 6pm-8pm at:

North Somerset Council Office
Castlewood
Tickenham Road
Clevedon
BS21 6FW

Please could you confirm attendance by emailing paul.metheringham@sgscol.ac.uk

“NCS is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity open to all 16 & 17 year olds in England and Northern Ireland, that helps you build your skills for work and life, while you take on new challenges and meet new friends.

NCS is currently running through the Autumn half-term, you can sign up NOW! You'll have a short time away from home and take part in a team project that will help your community.  NCS also runs in the spring and summer.

Aimed at young people aged 16 and 17 years of age.”

  1. Just a thought - If the presentation is on 23rd October I doubt many will be prepared to have things in place to enable young people to participate in half term!

    1. National Citizenship Service is an all year round project so although it may not be useful for you this half term, perhaps it would be a useful opportunity for all of the other half terms? Thanks for your comment.
