Positive Activities For Young People Fund 2013/14 (PAYP fund)

The Positive Activity For Young People Fund 2013/2014 is officially open for applications.

There have been a few minor changes, so please make sure you read the guidance notes carefully. Application form and guidance can be found here.

What is the PAYP fund? The PAYP fund looks to support school holiday activities and projects that encourage the engagement of children and young people, aged 8-19 years, who are at risk of offending, social exclusion or have been identified as being at risk of engaging in negative outcomes.

Although the fund can support universal activities and services, successful applications will need to demonstrate a targeted approach, taking into consideration the key objectives listed below. Activities or projects should look to encompass the positive activity definition which includes art & cultural, sports, leisure, play and informal education projects activities.

PAYP fund objectives:
·         Reduce the risk of offending
·         Reduce crime, anti social behaviour and offending
