I am pleased to let you know that the North Somerset Council and NHS Healthy Lifestyles Grants application process is now open!
The grants are to be used for the benefit of improving health equality and promoting healthy lifestyles amongst children and young people aged 0-19 (25 SEN) in North Somerset. Please see the application pack for more information.
The total allocation of the grant is £35,000. The fund is split into two parts, one part being a sole project specifically aimed at the Weston South and Central area (map included in the application pack) with the second part being grants of up to £1,500 for healthy lifestyle projects. Projects using should look to encourage health equality and healthy lifestyles by supporting positive activity opportunities in the communities of North Somerset, partnership working with Local Commissioning Networks is also encouraged. There is an expectation that all projects will have elements of match funding attached to their delivery.
