The BIG Assist programme is hosting a free Summer Conference...

The BIG Assist programme is hosting a free Summer Conference on the 3rd of July at the British Library, London.

The programme which works to support infrastructure organisations to be more efficient, effective and sustainable - invites you to this exciting one-day
conference at the British Library to to share, learn and connect over the changing face of infrastructure.

On-going public funding cuts, increased demand for services and the task of growing income, markets and partners are just some of the challenges facing infrastructure organisations today. This
conference will bring together infrastructure organisations across England (local, regional, specialist and equalities), as well as funders, statutory bodies, policy makers and researchers - with the aim of providing a forum to share practical skills and resources to help infrastructure organisations adapt and change.

The conference will give you:

  • practical advice and support, with debate and discussion in expert-led workshops
  • networking opportunities to share your learning and views with others.
  • presentations, hands-on workshops, case studies and lunchtime sessions, with opportunities to engage and discuss the following topics:
    • impact: demonstrating the impact and value of infrastructure
    • marketisation: the challenges and dilemmas of selling your services
    • relationships: forming new links - who and how?
    • funding and Income:  new income and business models
    • partnerships: collaborations and mergers
