Legal workshop information and VANS membership offer

I hope all is returning to some normality for you after the recent poor weather. A BIG thank you to all who attended the successful legal structure workshop this week even in the terrible weather.

We had representation from all but one network and initial feedback is that it was a resounding success! Apart from the fact that Gail and I had no tea bags to offer...

The workshop encouraged discussion, questions and helped to shead some light on different types of charities and legal structures. For a relatively 'dry' subject, all attendees got involved and shared experiences and there was not a dull moment!

The success of the workshop has highlighted that if there is a common topic or issue that most networks share, we can tailor information around that topic to enable you to develop your network.

VANS

Due to the late start and prompt finish, we didn’t have time to let you know that North Somerset Council are able to fund 12 months membership for each of the 11 identified Local Commissioning Network to VANS (Voluntary Action North Somerset). Please register your interest for your network by Friday 1st February and we will send you a voucher. Please email rhiannon.jones2@n-somerset.gov.uk to register.
