Volunteer opportunities for young people in the South Rural Network area

The South Rural LCN which covers Banwell, Bleadon, Hutton, Locking, Winscombe & Sandford  have recently shared this volunteering opportunity with us:

A scout group in the network area who support children and young people with additional needs and are in need of volunteers. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone to get into volunteering or to put something back into their community.

They would be grateful for anyone who can provide activities or sessions, so please get in touch with them if you are able to help. The SRN are also keen to support you. More information:
  • 34th Weston-super-mare (The Firs) Scouting group are a unique group providing the usual Beaver and Cubs activities for children and young people but for those with additional needs who are unable to access mainstream scout groups. General assistance in supporting the leaders is needed.
